IDAHO M&A FIRM DELIVERS WORKSHOPS ON BUILDING BUSINESS VALUE TO BENEFIT ENTREPRENEURS
C&H Group founders will provide real world tips and suggestions for Growing Your Business and Determining What Your Business Is Worth at entrepreneurial workshops held in Boise and in Idaho Falls next week.
Boise, Idaho - The C&H Group announced today that co-founders Meg Carlson, Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) and Korri Hall, CPA, will deliver two workshops in April for emerging and established business owners. Realizing Business Value is the primary objective of each successful ownership transition. Carlson and Hall work with clients to ensure each transaction represents a reasonable return to the seller while providing sufficient investment value to the buyer. Understanding the growth drivers of the client’s business enables C&H to implement a strategic search for candidates who are most likely to recognize the full potential of the business. Carlson and Hall often respond to requests to help business owners determine what their business is worth and evaluate alternative growth strategies for increasing business value.
The C&H Group will present workshops at two upcoming business forums: Kickstart - The Northwest’s Premier Entrepreneur Event in Boise and the 3rd Annual Area Business Connection in Idaho Falls. Both events focus on entrepreneurs and innovators and offer informational workshops, booths and receptions. Following is a brief summary of each event, but more information can be obtained on their sponsoring organizations’ websites.

Implementation Track: Valuing My Business, by The C&H Group
A business is ultimately worth what a qualified buyer is willing to pay. Buyers are mainly concerned with obtaining a fair return on their investment (ROI), while also applying judgments about market position, proprietary know-how and intellectual property, competitive strengths, quality of assets and earnings, growth potential and risks associated with the business. How do buyers determine the price to offer? Should I expect rules of thumb like multiples of sales or EBITDA be used to determine value? This workshop will explore the variety of accepted methods for evaluating a business, depending on its industry, stage of development and potential uses for the business valuation.
