Meg Carlson Joins Other Selection Committee Members Chosen for Their Diverse Experience and Expertise
Boise, Idaho - Meg Carlson, co-founder and principal of The C&H Group, has been invited to serve on the Selection Committee of the 2006 Intermountain Venture Forum (TM) (IVF) for the fourth straight year. Carlson joins other Selection Committee members chosen for their diverse experience and their expertise in business leadership, technology, and finance and early-stage company development. The IVF Selection Committee administers the competitive process by which the area's most promising companies are chosen to present at this year's Forum, set for September 26th and 27th in Boise. Carlson directed the IVF selection committee as its chairperson in 2004.
Presented by the Boise Valley Economic Partnership, IVF brings together presenting companies with prospective investors and partners from around the western United States. Now in its eighth year, IVF also features panels of leading experts in venture funding and angel investment. The 2005 Forum boasted the highest paid attendance in its history with 5 of the 10 presenting companies receiving investments for their business proposal.
Carlson actively contributes to furthering the development of the entrepreneurial community in the greater Boise Valley through her participation on the boards of Kickstand, an entrepreneurial support group, NAWBO, a mentoring group for women business owners, and Boise Rotary Club, a worldwide service group for business leaders.
