Idaho Woman Entrepreneur To Moderate 4th Annual Intermountain Business Forum

Meg Carlson Joins Entrepreneurs and Directors in Discussing Corporate Governance for Growth

Boise, Idaho - Meg Carlson, co-founder and principal of The C&H Group, has been invited to moderate a panel of Idaho-based directors and C-level executives who will offer their insights and suggestions for members of the audience regarding corporate governance for growth companies. This year’s forum will address “Aligning Company Directors and Management to Enhance Superior Growth.” Attendees will gain insights from keynote speaker Hal Shear, president of Board Assets, Inc., as he discusses how to select and maintain an effective Board of Directors based on career experience, advisory ability, and key contacts they can bring to the board.

How much does a strong board of directors really matter to a growth-oriented company? Experienced business advisors say that a company struggling to navigate its way through the challenges of fast growth and the treacherous capital markets can find valuable assistance from a strong board.

“Having been involved in prior Corporate Governance forums, I assure you that Hal Shear and the experienced panel of professionals provide insight and information to help businesses like yours grow and succeed,” said Ms. Carlson, “and this year will be no exception.”

Carlson actively contributes to furthering the development of the entrepreneurial community in the greater Boise Valley through her participation on the boards of Kickstand, an entrepreneurial support group, NAWBO, a mentoring group for women business owners, and Boise Rotary Club, a worldwide service group for business leaders.
